EU Rush 2049 depends on DC internal flash/region?

    And if you patch it to region free and burn to another disc, it works?

    No there are fixes made by hykan that edit the binaries but you must choose which region you want it to boot on. It cant be made totally region free but you can change regions. Pressed official Sega Mil-CD's are handled differently the gd-roms for some reason.

    The Kabuto was changed in the NON Mil-CD capable systems. I wish I had this disc so could test it on mine.

    Hey erm, not to piss on your cupcake here but your PBA bowling image didn't work on any of my 3 PAL region dreamcasts or my Japanese one, only the US region machine. What happens is, the game boots fine, goes through the opening film and such then reaches the press start screen, you press start and the console resets to the bios menu, I know I downloaded and burned it properly because it worked fine with the console set to NTSC-U.

    It doesn't seem to me like any sort of intentional region lock, perhaps a programming mistake?
