Silverbolt's list is complete albeit the semi-official PC games, there are duplicates however. I'm sure you know that Shin Seiki is the name.
Yeah, I was gonna say, Shinseki (New Century, I think) Evangelion and Neon Genesis Evangelion are the same things - Shinseki is the reading of the Kanji, with the subtitle being Neon Genesis. Man, I'd love to get that N64 version. :smt045
Are any of the Evangelion games actually good though? There seems to be a lot of adventure games devoid of actual gameplay, and there's an awful large percentage of them being Mahjongg games...
This has to be, by far, the most werid eva game: http://www.gainax.co.jp/soft/datsui/main-e.html mental stuff.
Never heard of the Swan version. ¿Anyone here ever played it? Is it any cool? The 64 version has pretty cool production values, even if it's somewhat close to unplayable. I, myself, like it a lot - in terms of audiovisual production. I find it pretty cool.
Yeah, I think the 64 version is going to be the best in terms of actual gameplay - it is a bit slow, but from what I've played, you take control of Unit-01 in battles with the various Angels.
Is the n64 game like the animes? Fighting all the angels up to 17 and then fighting the white ones, too?? I thought I saw a screen shot like that. The N64 version could be remade for the Xbox or something, and...it might sell. :drinkers:
I'd buy it, at least. What about that PS2 game called "Evangelion 2"? Did it ever come out? Does it suck?
the swan game is kinda like err.... i cant explain it... you get a friggin egg and thats all i know... alot of text in japanese... and that evangelion 2 for ps2 is kinda weird... you go around your house, nerv, store etc you actually move shinji around and stuff, and when you go to the battles is kinda tactical, not like the n64 game, you see a big green radar map and you move your eva around "is a dot" and there are boxes around the map with weapens like on the anime, also, you can unlock your power cable or the angel can breake it... so you have to find another one quick or you die, when you get near the angel you press some button and you see your eva getting hes ass woped or you actually beat the crap out of the angel, it switches to 3d animation when you do so.
The first Saturn Evangelion game is a bit like Virtual On I think (I have it but havent played). Then there's the Digital Card Library which speaks for itself, the other one which is an adventure.
2nd Impression is where a new student comes to school named Mayumi, and has the core of the 8.5th (Or something) angel inside her. Although you choose how the episode progresses, so Mayumi may or may not be the focus of your game. The battles are very easy. And Digital Card Library is...a Digital card library. With minigames! I like the manga in it. Rei keeps thinking she's Sonic the Hedgehog.
Has anyone here played the first Saturn Evangelion game? It sounds interesting. Is it kind like the 64 Evangelion game but with 3D movement?
Yeah, I have all the saturn games and they are all crap. Fun for a 30 minute session but after that it just drags on. Yakumo
