Does anybody besides me really want a pair of those Evangelion heaphones? It's an old story, but I haven't heard much about it since it was first mentioned. If you don't know what I'm talking about, see this article. Has anybody heard when these are going to come out or how much they'll cost? I'm not even that huge of an EVA fan, but they're so cool looking...
Are these for real? They look like plain old headphones with an evangelion-ish themed sticker slapped on the sides
The same could be said of most popular brands of anything. "This Windex is nothing but a bottle of price-saver ammonia with a Windex sticker on it!"
I bet Gainax are laughing all the way to the bank with the stupid amount of Eva merchandise that still gets sold every year... Although thise headphones look rather ugly.
Speaking of Gainax, did anyone know Gainax is making several new Evangelion movies? Some of them have already been shown in Japan, I think.
I'm sure when Eva starts to dry up then I'm sure there will be an official Rei and Asuka hentai series or something... they are getting very close to it already with the figures that get produced...
Only the first movie was released in Japan. They're making 4 movies, to retell the story and add a more satisfying ending.
I hope it doesn't end up having another stream of consciousness "Meaning of life" ending like the first one. The ending in End of Evangelion was better, but still too damn ambiguous. Also, when the hell is the live action movie coming out? I've heard about a billion things. Like Lindsay Lohan being casted as Asuka to the the kid in the Harry Potter movies being Shinji. I swore I saw a trailer somewhere.
