what is this game like? http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c65305513 I also remember seeing another Evangelion based typing game? TIA cheers
This game is on ebay all the time http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8119475023&rd=1 All I know is that it is a simulation game, probably similar to Iron Maiden on the Saturn, but i don't know for sure.
. huh? $52.99? Is this seller serious? The one I posted is 510 yen and I even seen one for 1 yen on YJ. that's a lot of mark up IMHO. also only 30000 released? 'ello? that's not limited number IMO. if it's 3000 then maybe... better get one myself and sell on eBay for nice fat profit! he he cheers
I ahve that boxed set ^_^ I paid 3000 Yen for it whilst in Tokyo (second hand, complete). Its a simulation game where you play as some NERV recruit . You basically look after Rei Ayanami and try to get clsoe with her. Thats about what I figured anyway....I know no Japanese (well, very little) so just take my information as is ^_^ P.S. Its a cool set, comes with a nifty NERV mouse and Rei Mousemat.
As far as I know there are two Typing games....I have the boxed set of one of them. It comes with a nifty fan and teatowel thingy ^_^ Can't play the game at all though, its all in japanese. The other one has english typing lessosn in it for a bit....but I only have the disc of that.
Re: . Damn them damit, trying to sell that damned stuff to us at absurd prices by convincing us that it is rare. That makes me so damn mad. :smt033 Another thing, On Digitalpress, Assembler, and any other forum i have been to, I always see IMO, IMHO, and ROFL what does that shit mean?
There are 3 Neon Genesis Evangelion games for the Dreamcast. The two typing games are impossible to play unless you have a Japanese keyboard and can actually write in Japanese. I tried them and failed miserably :smt022 The 3rd is a type of adventure game. You know the type don't you? Pretty much text. pictures and that's about it. Shinseiki Evangelion: Typing E-Keikaku Shinseiki Evangelion: Typing Hokan Keikaku Shinseiki Evangelion: Ayanami Rei Ikusei Keikaku (The only one playable) Yakumo
Re: . IMO - In my opinion IMHO - In my humble opinion ROFL - Rolling on floor laughing there are many more like TIA, RTFM, YMMV, and etc. cheers p.s. TIA - Thanks in advance RTFM - Read the f**king manual YMMV - Your mileage may vary
I'm pretty good at Japanese typing games Stuff that messes me up is when they don't use my romaji style. I'm used to ja instead of jya and ou instead of oo or oh among other small annoyances.
You think that ebay price is bad, I looked around to see if I could find it any cheaper, and every site that had it the price was above $80 USD.
All the eva games are shit. Pure shovelware. Even the iron girlfriend ones... Get the eva 64 game, it's a side scroller "fighter"
I looked for the N64 version on ebay with no luck, and every Import site I know of sells it for way over $100 USD except for Game Choice Club, they have it for $85. They list the game in "mint" condition, but you can never tell with GCC. I bought a PC Engine Core Grafx from them that was "mint", but actually the box was in horrible condition, the controller did not work, and I didn't get an instruction manual. Hardly what I call mint.
The carts are like $35 in Japan. I got mine for that... on a good day you can get one for $60. get one in the usa. EMS adds about $17
On first impressions I ahted the N64 game.....but I must say...its grown on me and I quite like it now ^_^ Thanks must go out to GSL again for getting me that boot code
thanks for the eBay link, ive been wanting to add that to my collection for a while now... Was there a ppack in japan with a n64 and the eva game.. i recall seeing a console with the nerv logo on before. )
If you buy them for playing not only collecting skip any typing of the dead games, they really suck, beside you are into hardcore typing
