whatever makes them feel fuzzy inside. i saw another article that said they want to eventually go up against Disney as the largest entertainment corporation or something. These guys have been in board rooms smelling marker fumes too long. The article also mentioned them talking about an EA awards show that would be like the oscars and grammys but for videogames and celebrities or whatever.
"a genre we take very seriously" --EA in reference to sports titles. Of course they take it seriously, it's the only thing they're any fucking good at.
With categories like: "Worst paid employee of the year" "Most profitable milking licence of the year" "Best buy-out of the year" "Best sequel of the year" "Best workforce abuse of the year" "Sneakiest marketing tactic of the year" ?
EA doesn't worry me. I don't buy into the whole "Penny Arcade is infallible" bit, but anyone they seem to rip on always seems to go down the shitter. Look at Ion Storm, lol.
