I'd never heard of it. I'm testing out an FM Towns Marty and that was the game that came with it. Pretty addictive...
Yep, fantastic game. I've got it on the Meag Drive and my phone. It's the follow up to QIX, also by Taito. Yakumo
Volfied is a brilliant game on the Megadrive (it's just as good on the PC Engine but the MD version is better) and has some really nice music too. ^_^ Not played the FM Towns version though.:crying:
of course! that game was my addiction when i was 5-6 years old!! I used to play the PC version though, on an x86 computer at the time. There was a SNES version of it too, Arcanoid was it?
Yeah, that's an awesome game! The last time I played it was in 1997 I guess, the pc version also. I remember the first level was some sort of snake in the desert. Edit: I just found my copy again
Somewhat-related, but I recall hearing about some game called "Polybius" at some arcades a a long, long, long time ago. They were all the rage for a couple of weeks, but then the buzz died down. Something about kids spazzing out and men in black suits. I honestly don't know what the feck happened. Do you guys?
one of the more popular arcade-games back in early 90s, i believe. great game indeed. the PCE port sucks a little bit due to not beeing as near as arcade-perfect. completely disarrange of all levels. btw: do you gonna sell this marty? still looking for one.
Great game, I used to have the MD version. I'm pretty sure I saw a famicom game some time ago under the name "Volfied". Anyone knows if it was it a real port of the game, some pirate cart, or a Qix hack? I didn't have the posibility to try it...
I have a version for the Sega Saturn also by Mycom from what I remember. The Saturn game is called Gal Panic SS. Basically it's the same game but with girls in the background rather than crazy Sci-Fi looking levels. If you can find it I seriously recommend it. Yakumo
I remember Gals Panic, it used to be in a local arcade games place near my house about 10 years ago... I think I have it on MAME, but I don't really know where, I should name my discs to find all stuff easier :banghead:
