    What do you mean?

Here is my dirty eagle schematic

(I don't really know how to connect the implicit pwr source for the chip, even after using the "Invoke" command).

The oscillator won't work depending on the chip, or you may have to rewire it. I haven't dealt with CMOS oscillators enough to know of a stable circuit. Normally you'd want an unbuffered chip, but NANDs don't come unbuffered. People are able to get a 74HC00 to oscillate though: http://www.robotroom.com/InfraredTransmitter.html I just haven't had such luck.

I think the power sources will have to be manually specified on the PCB via rats nest before routing.

Why use a 74hc00 for the oscillator?
I'll have to try the following shematic using Pspice, but I have to remember how it works >_<
    (it uses 74hc04)

I'd try to use two NANDs in order to save a chip.

I had difficulties to route the pcb with only one chip :-\
