Just got my everdrive 64 v3 and am loving it so far. When I do the self test I get an error SRM : ERROR 04. I am hoping someone knows what this error means. Just making sure this cartridge is ok and I can't get an answer at the everdrive support forum. Thanks in advance :)

I pressed Z to bring up the menu. On the menu it says Favourite, Options, Device Info and About. None of those options give me a Self Test option. It's a little weird.

EDIT: Updated to the latest software. Much has changed lol. The tests came back all clear.

First thing you should try is a different SD card. If that doesn't work, is your Everdrive64 a Version 3? If so, the SRM might relate to the battery on it.

Thank you. I realized today that the OS included in a rom pack I loaded on the SD card is outdated. This must be the issue so when I get home today I'll update that.

Thank you sir. A member there made the same mistake I did and had an old OS on the card. I'm pretty confident now that's the issue but I'll update this thread later today.

    [UPDATE]
Well it was the OS I loaded the first time. It was outdated, loaded the new OS and all is good.
