i may be being dense here but i thought that krikzz put the ability to run nes roms on the everdrive 64? i have the ed64 folder with the software to run the 64 games, a sub folder for 64 games (and most except snowboard kids work so far (obviously not banjo tooie and jet forceg ) but i have then created a folder for nes roms and put them all in but when attempting to run get "emulator not found" can anyone tell me what emulator i need, where i get it and whether it needs to be in a specific folder to be able to boot the roms? thanks:mario:
nice one - not sure how i missed that. what sort of results have people reported? just tried super mario bros and 1 rom is super speeded up and another crashes. probably dodgy roms but are working roms running at normal speeds?
Just to be clear this emulator was not written by KRIKzz. I haven't tried it myself, but I heard its not very good.
The emulator only support regular games, games with complex mapper chips (castlevania 3...) will not work. For the speed issue, did you tried a rom matching your N64 region? If you try a PAL rom on an NTSC system, it will run too fast.
Hey adithompson, I'm also having problems with Snowboard Kids PAL rom on my PAL ED64. Snowboard Kids NTSC rom, however, works fine. Did you try a PAL rom?
