So I ordered my Everdrive64 but waited until I could finally find a decent upscaler to play on my big TV before playing it. So been reading up on a few things and have 3 main questions if that's ok?

    1) I think I am possibly doing something wrong but does Gameshark in Everdrive64 work? Currently having a problem trying to use a code for WWF No Mercy, I get to the enter a code stage and then start up the game and either the game comes up with a system error of "game is not compatible" or when trying out said code it doesn't work.

    2) Is there a topic/site that explains the process of uploading complete save files, as I see quite the selection but the process confuses me a little? Do I need to learn HEX/Save file editing first or am I ok to download the ones listed and replace over the current ROM i.e. 007 Goldeneye.

    3) Also the co-op patch for Mario 64! (amazing!) - is that possible with this version of Eve64?

    Thanks all.

Pretty sure that GameShark does not work or work properly with the EverDrive 64.

About #3, not all N64 ROM hacks work on an actual N64. Many are made and tested on emulators only and will crash on a real system. You'd just have to try it and hope it works.

Gameshark codes work just fine on ED64 v2 with the latest OS. Here's how I got them to work.

    1. Select and start the game you want to play.
    2. After the game loads up, reset the console so it takes you back to the ED64 menu.
    3. Press Z, go to options, and turn Gameshark on.
    4. Go to the Cheats menu and put in the codes you wish to use. Don't forget the Gameshark "Enable Code" for the game, as codes won't work otherwise.
    5. Once you've input your codes, exit the Cheats menu and press start. The game will load and the codes you entered should work as long as they are valid.

For example, I played "WWF No Mercy (USA)" as recognized by No-Intro and used the following codes.

    Enable Code (Must Be On)
    F103E360 2400

    Unlock All Characters/Costumes/Moves
    810BEE40 FFFF
    810BEE42 FFFF
    810BEE44 FFFF
    810BEE46 FFFF
    810BEE48 FFFF
    810BEE4A FFFF
    810BEE4C FFFF
    810BEE4E FFFF
    810BEE50 FFFF
    810BEE52 FFFF
    810BEE54 FFFF

"WWF No Mercy (USA) (Rev A)" does not work with these codes. Also, try to only use codes that worked on an actual Gameshark, as most codes created for emulators won't work.

Thank you for taking the time out to reply but for some reason I can't seem to get those working? Every time I use them I get the same error message as before i.e. "The game is not compatible" - I have used this on a few rom's as well, so could I ask where you got the codes and rom from and I'll try again?
