I love my Everdrive-MD, and I didn't see the Laseractive on the supported list on the website, probably because no one tested it.

I just got a Laseractive after wanting one for many years, and I can confirm that it works with regular Genesis games - I haven't tried SSF2 mind you, but I have tried various Genesis games. SMS games work great - the system has a hard reset, so that is probably why SMS works here, unlike the Xeye/Wondermega. No surprise to me since the PBC was confirmed to work years ago.

Let me know if you want anything tested with the Laseractive, other than SSF2 which I haven't tested yet.

I can also confirm that everdrive works on the Laseractive system, and just to back him up Super Street Fighter II does work, awesome cart for a over the top system :flamethrower:

    The laser active

The laser active seems really interesting, but I would have to get more passionate about my laserdisc collection in order to see myself getting one. Wasn't it an extraordinarily expensive device?? You're lucky to get a good deal on one in the first place, but then you need the genesis adapter too, right?

yes you do, which is odd, the genesis adapter is really not that expensive but the one for pce is outrageous, pretty soon ill mod my Laseractive for RGB and then the real fun will begin ;)

But the real question is: do you have CABIN BOY starring Chris Elliott on laserdisc?

I've got the Star Wars Definitive Collection with mint book and box. 0 signs of laser rot too.

I'm planning on getting myself a Laseractive with the aim to start dumping LD-ROMs for preservation and emulation. Problem is that I don't have the $300+ eBay sellers seem to think a beaten up Laseractive is worth.

I'm curious to see if this:

Would work at all on a LD-ROM title. Its designed to dump carts rather than SegaCD games so I'd assume it'd fail.
