I'm trying to control consoles w/ flash carts from a PC, so I can automate everything for frontend support. I'm pretty sure the Genesis USB will work perfect for this. However, do the N64 and SNES carts work the same as Genesis? Do I have to tell the flash cart menu to establish a USB mode (eg from controller)? Do I have to use the reset buttons for anything? Can I transfer while the console is powered on? If so, can I tell the console to start game from the PC?

The idea is to transfer game to cart from frontend, then switch AV and controls using an Arduino & Cthulhu multiconsole PCB. I've got this figured out ftmp, I just need to know these little details about the Everdrives. Thanks.

you just should drag rom file to usb tool icon and rom will be trasfered to cart and started automatically. console should be turned on.

Nice. Is there a way to do this without drag and drop? Preferably command prompt. Scripting a drag and drop sounds awful. Is this program open source?

you must back to menu to load another game, so need to reset system. usb tool support command prompt. drag rom.bin to console application and wrote "usbtool c:/rom.bin" in command prompt is the same thing

Awesome. Since I'll have a relay switch on system power, I can control the power i/o, but not reset button. Looks like these carts will work perfect with frontends.
