EverDrive.us Site - Looking for contributors and admins

As suggested by veggav in the SD2SNES thread I have created a EverDrive-centric site where we can put all information about all the EverDrives. Here is the site:

I used the e107 management software. Although I am hosting this site, this is not a Stone Age Gamer specific site and I do not have time to manage it myself. So I am looking for people to help with this. If this is something you are interested in please PM me.

I just installed software and haven't done too much with it yet. I did install forum plug-in and will be adding forums.

P.S. If you don't see anything on site yet or see GoDaddy page then DNS hasn't updated yet, give it a few hours and check again.

You are a forum. This is a content site.

I see where you are coming from, but the forum part was a request by KRIKzz. I like this forum. If KRIKzz is happy keeping forum here I have no issue with removing forum on this site. As you know I have donated a significant amount of money to your forum and I direct many customers here. The EverDrive.us forum was intended to be only specific to EverDrives where as yours is about many different things.

As for the rest of the site, I don't see the issue. You only provide a forum, you don't actually provide any other content pertaining to EverDrives and that's what I and others are looking for. Pinned threads don't cut it.

If you want to work something out with KRIKzz go ahead, but you are acting like its just me here and its not. There have been many others that have expressed wanting a site like this. I could live with or without the forums on there.

 

I remember when Assembler Games had content, MANY years back, then all of a sudden it became forum only, and I lost the interest in even looking for pictures.

I used to come to the site to see pictures of all the obscure stuff.. Now I have to find it in forum posts.

 

maybe the forum part can be redirected here, in order to not lose all the old topics, info and already answered questions, maybe doing here organized sub-forums like you did in the new site and move the topics already made into his correspondent sub-forum.

The idea behind the site is just organize all the info spread here.

I lost the count on how many times I saw people asking if Banjo Tooie would play on the ED64, just as an example.

 

Right. After dealing with 30 e-mails a day asking 20 different questions about EverDrives I want somewhere organized to direct customers. I am sure its the same way for Igor, if not worse.

Since we are trying to centralize information it only seemed to make sense to centralize the forums on the same site.

We will see, the forums weren't the main focus of this idea, but something has to happen with the forums whether its here or there to help more organize it.

Right now the point of this post was to help find some people to help organize the content part of the site. That's all.

 

i like this forum, cuz we already here and here aready all work, but i think that single section on the forum, is not enough anymore. but i'm not sure that creating current topic was an good idea :redface:
