    Hi guys,

Recently bought a everdrive v2, it was a pal version but asked for it to be ntsc before I bought it.

The person I got it from has vanished from the face of the earth.

I have had a quick check inside and it looks okay.

All it does it keep asking for the 0S64.v64 file, have tried a couple of sd cards and followed the instructions.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Jamma

Looking at the CIC chip, it appears to be the NTSC version, 6102. If I'm correct, PAL is 7101.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

Have tried downloading newest OS version 1.28, also tired 1.27nand three different SD cards all formatted.

Also that is good, as I wanted the NTSC chip, it was originally PAL.

The screen has MRP is the top right corner if that helps.

    Thanks

    Jamma

It sounds like it's not reading the SD cards....

Finally had time to look at this a bit better. Removed the CIC 6102 to find a butcher job under the area where they must have removed the PAL cic. Tested a few of the tracks and found one that had been cut. So a quick wire added and now it all works. Krikzz I must apologies for this dirty work around, and please let me know if you think this is a bit dodgy.

Will attach a pic in abit.

5 in from the right on the chip and first point to the right of the CIC. Have stuck a bit of tape over to stop any touching.
