EverDrive Won't Play SMS and 32x Games

I don't know about the SMS games, but you need a 32X to be able to play 32X games, are you using one?

EDIT: Actually it sounds like you are if you are getting some picture, so I'm probably on the wrong track.

Will it play SMS without the 32x? If so its something wrong on the 32x's end.

 

You can't play SMS games with the 32x in. The SMS mode pin, which needs voltage is not carried through the 32x.

 

And you're using the PAL Doom 32X rom on an NTSC system. There's an (E) in that file name. That's why the screen is scrolling.

 

Yup, agreed.. use a US rom of doom, and SMS only works w/ the everdrive plugged into the genesis itself...

 

I'm assuming you've tried a game with a (U) in the name - you mentioned you tried several 32X games - as you will likely get a rolling screen when playing PAL games (the ones with (E), (WE) or variations upon that in the title) on an NTSC television.

And PCB_Master is correct in the statement that you may have to remove the 32X in order to play SMS games.

I have just one USA game that I would like to play on EUR 32X - Tempo. Is this game will work? On tototek cart there isn't any possibility to pass region check
