Quality! My lego's too old-skool for the Star Wars stuff though - I'd just put a pirate there instead.
They should replace the battle droid with a Mario kubrick (if one's available) or make one out of a lego character
The pirate would be cooler anyways. Not that I dislike Star Wars, but I think Legos are just going too far with their licensed properties. I remember back in my day, I had to build X-Wings from SCRATCH! And the entire goddamned front end of the ship was YELLOW, because I ran out of black and grey blocks!
I made a Metal Gear Rex, all Grey blocks, and a model of Ultimate weapon from FF7, and then I bulit a mech out of legos and put a little alien guy inside. Once, I used them all up to make a GIANT castle.
Damn straight! New Lego sucks. There's too many non-standard bricks with all this licensed crap! Besides the pirates and space guys, every Lego man had the EXACT SAME HEAD!!!
well I was never a creative child and all I could make with my lego was city tower blocks......*sigh*......... I did use to have maccano when I was a teenager, the full on metal strips and bolts etc, used to make robotic arms, like a hollow exoskelton/suit and run about with them. I made one once wthat went over my forearm, hinged at the elbow and ran upto my shoulders........god I wish I stillhad maccano
I used to love Space Lego. had loads of that stuff which ended up being given away to the local hospital by my dad Yakumo
I'm spending a week at home next week so I'll dig out my lego and mechano and make a charger fit for a king!
I showed that to my 13 year old son and heres what he made with his legos. He not only made a fully functioning recharge station for his DS but he also included an extra slot for his GBASP and while he didn't have a battle droid he added a few nice touches by adding a pirate flag and little arms that can hold individual DS games. This is version 1. He's already revised it and cleaned up the colors but I don't have a pic yet.
Lol, I asked my son to make one he said "Bog off dad Lego's boring"!!! ...Couldn't really argue with him as it is damn boring when u stop and think :smt042
Lego is a danish company and it means leg godt (play good) and in latin lega means if i remember right something like "playing"
i remember the days when i tryed to make all the ff 1 characters in lego blocks all were about 2 feet tall and in 3 d, damn i has not enough red blocks to make the fighter!
