I can confirm, Meso speaks the truth. In addition, there are DRC-DK and DRC-DK-TV Controllers. The DRC-DK-TV have HDMI-out at the bottom of the GamePad, whereas DRC-DK doesn't. Both will only work with the CAT-DEV and CAT-R.
I don't have the DevKits yet, I'm still saving up and selling stuff. Yep, they're that expensive. ETA: October-ish. The Photos also exist in the PDF files, distributed by Nintendo, but I'm not sure I'm getting sued or not (after all, I'm not as anonymous as Meso is).
dev gamepad (DRC) is just a regular gamepad with a green back and a box on top to switch from wireless to wired mode. the TV version just adds an hdmi port for capturing things for bug reports and demo videos of the gamepad. anonymous is how you gotta do it. still iffy on sneaking the PDFs from work. would rather not find out they are actually tracked and then get sued by both my employer and nintendo. if I did though, and i would have to be real ballsy to do so, id make the biggest leak the internets ever seen. just starting to get next-gen stuff in.
What if you were to take screenshots of the pdfs? That may help reduce any trace their may be on the actual files. You could also edit the screenshots and color on random parts and watermark it to further distort any sort of tracing that is in it.
that was my intention if i was gonna do a single pdf. but all of the latest sdks and propreitary guidelines are in html format.
Could you explain exactly what you mean? If they are in html couldn't you just edit the code before compiling it to get rid of anything that looks remotely close to a trace?
were talkin hundreds of pages here. i doubt theres any sort of tracking on the documents themselves. its the issue of getting them off my work computer, in case something is tracking them on there.
Meso, and that's why I simply won't leak anything. While my company only exists of me and my brother, I still don't want to take the risk on being Blacklisted by Nintendo, and end up jobless, just because I would listen to XDMEN.
As much as I want to see those PDF files, I understand the power of the Nintendo Ninjas, they would no doubt show up at someones door step. We'll just have to wait until EA goes under to see them, HAHA!
Oh ok. That makes more sense. It's completely up to you on whether or not you try to leak them, but I know many people would love you for it :encouragement:
Rcmadiax, Nintendo Ninjas are everywhere, during our Application, they even found us on Hacking and Homebrew Communities. We had to leave them all, in order to get Authorised, because it would cause problems with the NDA (rules 4 (Confidential Information) and 10 (No Reverse Engineering)). After that, they found our YouTube Channels, Twitter Accounts, Linkedin Accounts, Google Plus, just to name a few.
That's crazy. I guess they have to be good at their jobs and take them very seriously if Nintendo wants anything to be a secret. There wouldn't be any photos if your plan was to only leak the text. Assembler is talking about how to leak it without a trace. If you retype the whole thing on a separate computer/device and change words then there is no way to be tracked unless you tell someone or they physically see you do it. If you were to transcribe you would also have to make sure you didn't write things like ID numbers or any other identifiers that may be in the text, but hopefully that would just be common sense.
