Ah, I just read some info on a memory glitch in TS:FP where in mapmaker, if you do a certain thing, items wont take any space off of the space bar. Thats good news for people that make big maps in mapmaker! Here is the link to the instructions to do so. http://www.mapsplitters.com/news.html It won't load for me, but it is my connection that wont let me open it or something.
Me and my brother found one in the first Transportation Tycoon. When you start out a new game, make the longest railroad tunnel that you can possibly make. You'll have to make one that spans from one side of the island to the other, water to water. If you can make one that will cost $3 million +, it will build the tunnel (even though you have no where near that amount of money), plus it will give you the same amount of money that the tunnel costed. I think the most we managed to get was around 4 or 5 million. I don't know how many of you have played the game, but I love it, it's pretty much my favorite computer game.
Has anybody here played Dinopark Tycoon? It was a Mac game, for the old Macintosh all in one PCs before the iMac. I used to play this game a lot back in middle school and there was this exploitable bug where by canceling out of the stores in the game, you end up with more money. I would go in there and start canceling and end up with enough money to where I'm able to buy electric fences, have expensive dinosaurs, etc.
Mostly everyone's familiar with the World -1 trick in the original Super Mario Bros for the NES. What about the World 5 trick? It's at the same area, only when you go throught the bricks, do not touch anything on the control pad. In the screen, Mario would be to the very far right, but you would not see any pipes. Now make sure you move over to the right a little to make sure the plant is not out of the middle pipe: Fall down to the pipe, but not too much: Now, jump on the middle pipe, but make sure the screen doesn't scroll all the way to show the Worlds sign: Go down in the pipe & voila!
some little exploitable ''bugs'' on killzone. when you're switching to another gun, tap the L3 button and move forward at the same time to pass the animation sequence, you'll save some notable seconds, especially with heavier guns. Reloading: 1- Press the button to switch to another gun while pressing the reloading button, you're other weapon will reload, but you'll still be able to use one. 2-Shoot and reload at the same time: This is a tricky one, but it happened to me 2 or 3 times already. Hit the Shoot and reload button at the same time, if the timing is perfect, you'll be able to fire in a certain angle, depending of the weapon, while reloading. This isn't great for long range targets, but for close combats, it can always help. Press the Primary and secondary Fire Buttons at the same time on some weapons will allow you to Easly kill oponents in seconds. For an exemple, 3 Shells can be shooted out of the Shotgun at the same time.
I was playing Max Payne for the PC (Using no cheats or mods of any such), and I managed to catch up with Vinni Cognitti. Amazingly, when I tried to shoot him, he wasn't affected at all! So, I ran back up the staircase, and the regular intro showed.
Yes, I sometimes intentionally try to find glitches. I know, I have a bit too much time on my hands. Anyway, here is the latest glitch I have found: In Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 for the PS2, in the later levels after you get the infinite reaver, if you try to put down the reaver once, and only once, it starts a cutscene describing that you are bound to the reaver and you cannot put it down because the reaver won't release it's hold on raziel. Well, if you wait until RIGHT before a cutscene starts (such as after beating raziels two brothers) and immediately try to put down the reaver activating the cutscene where raziel describes that he cannot put down the reaver right as the cutscene for beating raziels two brothers starts both audio from the cutscene will play overtop each other (sounds like rambling garbage since two speeches are being said at the same time) and you can move around in the cutscene as if you were playing the game! It's pretty funny to do and It probably works on all the bosses after you get the infinite reaver.
In Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (aka Star Ocean 3), I managed to break the games light and texturing engine somehow (I havn't been able to replicate it). It was in some canyon, and after leveling for a while I exited a battle to find that every texture in the area that I could see had switched with other ones from various other points in the game. The lighting made everything be covered in heavy ammounts of purple, and my menu had several chunks of it missing, and character art was either garbled or gone. As far as I know im the only person to have seen it before.
I completed TrickStyle by falling off the map in the (impossible!) last level, then I got stuck in the bottom of the skybox and cruised all the way to the finish Stone
In donkey kong country, on the snes, when you beat the very first level, as your little Donkey Kong is moving to the second level on the map, just start smashing buttons and twiddle the d-pad. Some combination, yet to be found exactally by me, it will drop you into the middle of some level really close to the end of the game. As long as you can beat the level AND make it to a save point, you are good. But you can't get back to anything you skipped. I dont know of anyone else that ever came across this one. It seems to me to possibly be a developer shortcut for debugging
I found another way to do the -1 trick and recoderd it on emu: link you need a special version of fceu to play back: http://www.filespace.org/blip/fceu-0.98.12-blip.win.rar and also a rom called: "Super Mario Bros (E).nes" and remember to switch to PAL mode in the emu!
nope. but this video was made on a pal game.. and the timing is different between pal and ntsc.. so this one can't work on ntsc.
