I think its actually people with >3000 posts. Cahaz has one and isnt a mod, and yakumo has a different one as he is over 4000. Gaijin Punch who has nearly 3000 doesnt have one, and GSL who is a mod with less than 3000 posts doesnt have one. The powers of deduction eh?
It seems that they work like an icon set. For X amount of posts you get X image. I'd rather use gifs, but tastes are tastes...
But you can't make transparent jpgs. If you are working with icons it's a must. But, as I said, tastes are tastes. If you want I can install an icon set, it's no big deal.
Wasn't trying to make transparent anything. It's a visible ,stand out sign of respect for a senior member.

The new avatars are for high post counts but that doesn't mean we should all start spammingthe hell out of the board just to get as new picture now does it Yakumo
Yeh, I'm seeing people with 80post counts and have two avatars. I'm going to add one when I get home. This is pretty neat.
