Anyone know how to do this? All I can find through google is unscrambling apps, and burning apps, which I dont need :crying:. What I'm looking to do is open the ISO and extract the discs contents.
Yeah, it'd be pretty sweet to rip U R MR GAY's music for my own use. (This is orchestrated music, so it must be stored as... OGG or some other format maybe? I'm pretty sure video game music isn't conveniently stored like that, ready to pull! XD Ah well, so much for that.) I would like to get the soundtrack locally from NOA, but that could be a while. It would also be cool to fiddle around with textures and all that jazz, a la RE4 and Twilight Princess.
1080Peter, Galaxy's music is available on a double CD by Nintendo for Club Nintendo members in Japan. I m certain you will be able to find some rip online.
You can rip Wii discs, but you need a moddified console first, or a PC with a special DVD drive. Then I assume you can make your changes from the resultant ISO.
As I recall you should be able to open it with existing GameCube iso browsers once you decrypt the image if it's encrypted. You just can't reencrypt the iso (not that you'd want to do that) and you can't modify executables since they are signed or something.
I want access to the files inside so I can alter them Nope, doesn't work. All apps I've used for Gamecube ISO's don't work. Scrambled or Unscrambled. If you read the OP, Im looking to modify the ISO file, I dont need help backign up Wii games or anything like that.
As far as I know Wii uses pretty much the same antipiracy methods of the GC, reason why we got modchip so soon after launch.
You need a special drive to read the disks (sort of like Kreon for 360), but it's actually got standard bios. The drive will let you create an iso for Wii or Gamecube. You stick the drive in ur PC. You do not need to alter your Wii to do this - it's all from your PC. I think any of these will do. * LG-8164b * LG-8163b * LG-8162b * LG-8161b You can then rip the iso to get the contents, but the format of files is unlikely to be open - I'd have thought. Maybe GC tools can help....
and ppl keep replying shit to the anwser. HE WANTS TO EXTRACT FILES FROM ISOS AND AT PRESSENT DAY IS NOT POSSIBLE. I hope every1 can understand it now.
>>and ppl keep replying shit to the anwser. Shit is good fertilizer.......it's a holiday I don't need to read posts correctly...that's for work.... >>HE WANTS TO EXTRACT FILES FROM ISOS AND AT PRESSENT DAY IS NOT >>POSSIBLE. Isn't ISO's a standard format? by definition ISO (International Standards Oganisation). So extracting the files can be done by mounting the disk image no?...I'll go an try. What you get when u extract is different question. >>I hope every1 can understand it now. You only had to say......;-)
ok..I've tried undisker.exe, gcmtool (Can't complile damn thing), unscrambler, winrar all without luck.... I'll try moving to my mac and getting gcmtool working.
Yep you are correct. Problem is : do you have 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years to crack teh private key with which the Wii ISO CONTENT has been crypted? (well probably thats a too long time..but anyway its just for fixing the ideas)
