*Didn't know where I should put this, so I just put it here for now. Hello all fellow members of Assembler. I have built up an extremely rare collection over many many years, spending a lot of money on all of this. First off, this first piece of my collection is regarded as the 'holy grail' of Mario and anime. It's the vhs movie 'Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach' which is worth up to $800. I was lucky enough to pick this up for only $300. Front Spine Back My second piece is a brand new (In shrink wrap) vinyl LP on this vhs movie. (Picture book came bundled with the LP) My third piece is an artbook featuring the creators, concepts, pictures, ect of the film. Mario is even cursing in this book, though, that could just be due to Japan having different censorship. Here is a scan of the artbook... Scan on the manga adaption cover... And the riddlebook of the film, which is not documented on any site i've seen so far. And the final piece of my collection is another mario tape. This one is a Tom Thumb version except with Mario characters. This is also extremely rare. Thank you for everyone who is viewing my post. I have documented everything else on this super mario wiki ( http://www.mariowiki.com/Super_Mario_Bros.:_Peach-hime_Kyushutsu_Dai_Sakusen! ) And my website ( www.geocities.jp/EverythingSuperMario )
There were actually three of these: Shirayuki-hime (Snow White), Issunboshi (Tom Thumb), and Momotarou (Peach Boy). I've got a bunch of production materials for these lying around - here is part of the Momotarou storyboard:
HOLY SHIT, WILL YOU SELL THIS? xD I'd LOVE to buy this. If i had this, this would be my most prized possession in my collection lol. I've sent you a private message, maybe we can work something out.
I just ripped my Issunboshi tape. For anyone who wants to have a look, here it is. Hello. Another update. I have these two tapes, could anybody give me a little bit more info on them? Thanks. The first one seems to be a read along. Second one seems to be a fire safety video from Japan. Thank you.
LOL. So far I have uploaded one of the songs from the anime movie (I recommend putting your volume up a bit) Soon uploading Mario fire safety, Mario read along and some footage of my great mission to rescue princess peach tape. Updates, updates, updates... Here's the Issunboshi commercial and the read along.
Haha, actually, the Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach (The tape i have) is the rarest Mario item. Those scripts and tapes come extremely close to that. Only 3 of the great mission to rescue princess peach tapes are known to be out there. But i still really want those storyboards lol. My pleasure. Soundtrack for Amada series.
I really like how they kept the style on-model with the games. I'd love to see an entire series done in that style. Assuming those are original storyboards, I'm preeeetty sure that they would be rarer than the VHS tapes.
Thanks. There may be a couple of storyboards out there, nobody knows of the quantity, but it could possibly be rarer. (Most likely) Would anyone want some pictures of the inside of the artbook and picture book? My pleasure, dark. My restoration of the one hour Japanese Mario anime! Enjoy. As a bonus, here is the ending logo from the anime.
