    I obtained a soft-copy of fable 3 (not piracy but can't elaborate)
Ran gamehack on the files and causes the 360 crash completly, ran from network also throws dirty disc error. Thinking it was the special version I had, I noticed it was leaked on warez sites. Knowing that it wasn't technically illegal (maybe legally grey like most things I do) to do this since I already had a build of this game, I proceeded to do everything to the xex I could and it will not run on dev no matter what xex checks I try. I assume that this is due to a dll or xex being in one of the packaged folders that is encrypted or perhaps may be running into our little rock band 2 problem we had in the past. Any ideas what might cause this?

Is it only having an issue on the dev? I know a few people with a pirated version were having trouble getting it to run on the beta dash on a retail

Maybe I need to switch the kernel, I'll give that a go.

Nope still blackscreen, I guess I'll put it on me retail I'm just not suppose to have it on my gpd before release I guess I'll make a temp account for right now. Still would be nice to know wtf the issue is though.

Try "xextool -m d default.xex", then package the game files as an iso. Convert that to a GOD and it should work fine.

This was the next thing I was going to try. Except I planned on injecting the devkit file into the iso then converting it to god.

Haha, um bet if you put it on an external and ran it off that from xexmenu it would load just fine, or make it into a games on demand file.

Hawk what are you on about now... Ran off an external with a loader? How is that any different then running it off the local hard drive? Also GOD file throws an error even with the devkit xex in it.

Not rambling, but put the extracted game on an external HDD or a usb stick and run it with whatever xex launcher you want to use, and it will work. I can't tell you how it's different I just know it works, don't know why and do not care.

There are also games that have that prob but othterwise. They work from internal but not from usb. Like Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

Well my network solution is the exact same as using an external drive and instead of freezing throws a dirty disc error. Using SS patcher I inject the default.xex back in with only the dev signature changed retaining the same size pack it back in and create a god using ISO2GOD, the god wont even launch, thinking it was a signature issue I resigned the god package using le fluffy still returns an error.

Well I stand corrected, there was some extra things I had to do to repair integrity including using game disc layout and gd2content but in the end it worked. Good call guy's I'll keep this noted for the next tutorial I'm writing.
