Fake PS2 memory cards?

Hey,

I have two memory cards that I'm not very sure if they are legitimate or fake.
From what I've saw on the internet I think they are legitimate but I need some more opinions.

They are real. Fake ones will have a blob of black resin.

 

I'm not very sure about the blob.
I say this because the text on the PCBs is different.
On the left card the text is readable and on the right card the text is a little washed. As you can see the text on the MagicGate chips are different.
What tests I have to make to be sure they are legitimate cards?

 

They were simply made at different times at different factories. That sort of variation is normal.

 

One has Samsung memory and the other has Toshiba. The other chips are the same.

Moved to general gaming as it has nothing to do with repair.

 

Maybe he could have "fixed" the fakes and made them more official.
