I saw these Fallout 3 Nuka Cola promos on ebay. The guy seems to have quite a few. Is this a real promo or is he making these himself. I never really looked but I don;t think I've seen this one before. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300371115046
If it is real they spared EVERY expense. Coming from a graphic design background, it's really crappily put together, something a 2nd year student would make. The label is on cheap paper, they didn't even bother to fix the edges of the paper and putting a cap on a bottle isn't all that hard with the right tools. I guess all in all, it could be real just bad craftsmanship since it is just a promo item.
The label is paper, obviously, and if it was a promo either done by the publisher, or coca cola, they would have used their label printing process, instead of something you can get done at a custom print shop. $10 max
Why not go to the source? If anyone would know it is Pete Hines at Bethesda. He's the PR/Marketing guy that's quoted in nearly every piece about Fallout 3. I can't imagine that he's that hard to get ahold of. -hl718
I wonder if it's the same guy who did up a vending machine as well. Saw it on the web some time back. http://www.destructoid.com/nuka-cola-vending-machine-vends-nuka-cola-142369.phtml
the glowing quantum bottle is definitely unofficial. the actual promo nuka colas are just generic soda, from a company called party soda if i remember. never did drink mine (and probably shouldn't at this point).
