Bethesda did a really good job with their E3 conference this year. Fallout 4 looks like an amazing game, that you can easily put hundreds of hours in. What do you expect from Fallout 4 and what's going to be your favorite part ? I can already say that my favorite thing will be building my own house or base and making custom things.
I suspect you won't be able to make huge piles of stuff like you could in NV... which is not possible in Skyrim.
I expect there will be a lot of environment simplification, that engine is old. Add in buildable buildings, I don't think there will be as much to interact with like the old game where there was debris everywhere for the rock-it-launcher 9999 plates and cans
I expect it to be the best game evar!!!!!!111one Well, maybe not that high, but definitely high enough. I'm so getting a Pip Boy.
Looks very promising, haven't been able to look into much E3 announcements yet as my job's FW blocks everything game related The base building looks cool, very much like you see on other games these days but it is cool it finally made its way into FO. I heard somewhere there would be mod support on Xbox One, which sounds interesting, as that for me, was one of the key differentiators when it came to the PC version.
Seeing the trailer and hearing how long it's been in development made me question if it was meant to be released on last gen but development took a longer than expected. The whole 'feel of it' comes off dated which is unfortunate as I was expecting something a bit more.
I agree, JamesMichael, I was definitely hoping for a bit more. More meaning what, exactly? I am not sure, but whatever that might be, it wasn't there. Still excited for it, though. Sure it will be as big a time sink as any Fallout. Also, dogs in games, why is that apparently a thing?
