    Anyone got information about this mod? I have seen it on Youtube, but the uploader does not respond..

    It seems that he probably just soldered in the carts to the rom spots, IDK

    As far as I know, NES games should work fine if you rearrange the wiring on the connector, so I guess he just did that? Looks like they've also got a Sharp FamicomStation standing vertically, maybe this person is Japanese or just living in Japan. Can't say it's exactly common to have both a FamicomBox and FamicomStation when you're outside of Japan.

    I read somewhere a long time ago that kevtris got NES carts working with his Famicombox by disabling the lockout chip and modifying the menu ROM to include other game titles. It won't work with more complicated mappers like MMC3 though, It's something that has always interested me as I would like to play NES carts with my own Famicombox.
