For those of you who haven't heard of it, Famicom Dojo is a YouTube series/Podcast that talks about gaming (mainly retro, but the podcast gets into more recent stuff as well). Personally I enjoy it a lot and they're in the middle of planning more episodes. Check it out if you haven't already. http://famicomdojo.tv/ https://www.youtube.com/user/FamicomDojo
I am subscribed to them on YT, but I find that all there new content (2013) seems to be staggared and not full episodes as found in season 2.
Thanks for the link, seems to have some interesting content. I'd like to watch the episode about early 3d systems when I get a chance. Always appreciate well done retro-gaming shows.
A bit of a bump, but they have a new channel for all Famicom Dojo videos from here on out as explained in the latest video. Be sure to subscribe to this channel as well! http://www.youtube.com/user/FamicomDojo
I've met Shaun from Famicom Dojo before as he lives within state and only about 30-40 minutes from me. He's a cool guy and sure does love his Famicom systems! I find the show entertaining. Love the Sharp Twin Fami he has...if only I had one..
Which twin famicom are you referring to? He just has the regular red one, right? (pictured here: http://famicomdojo.tv/sharp/jp/twin-famicom/) The only hard to find one is the AN-505-RD (the red turbo one). Others are on ebay all the time. Ones with working disk drives will set you back <$200 including shipping. The (black) turbo ones tend to be more expensive, but you can find one for ~$200 if you wait. If you dig, you can certainly find a better deal on yahoo auctions JP (but keep in mind shipping & fees). Worthwhile if you love the Famicom, IMO. I have an AN-505-BK & love it!
