    Hey Guys

I picked this up off of Yahoo. The bottom blue label reads, "Bandai Osaka Office" and the top blue label reads, "Promotion F-002-1." Any ideas as to why a Famicom would have such markings? My guess is that it could have been used in some kind of display for Bandai games...?

Probably relates to the release order of the games. I tired to find a chronological list but google offered up nothing but gamefaqs bullshit.

Going by the condition it looks like it was used once and thrown in a cabinet.

I'm guessing this was "owned" by the marketing department, and dragged out for tournaments/conventions/etc. I'm guessing the number is simply an internal catalog number to keep track of it.

That's what I figured as well. The box and console have a large "H" written on them. My guess is that they had quite a few of these that they'd use to test out or display games.

It's too new looking to have been used for something like that (full time testing), I suspect it was used in a promotion or something.

What's the white stuff growing on the cords? Could it be a clue as to how often it was used, or how it was stored?

Edit: Never mind - I just read the styrofoam thread
