Yeah, and considering the japanese's totally not-obsessive attitude towards shitty repetitive games I'm sure this wont end in a series of bankruptcies due to casuals selling their houses for useless zynga points that aren't worth shit (nor can be traded back)

Anyways, I know that softbank put a lot of money on zynga a while back, and that one already bought a studio or two over there so its kinda weird that it took them so long to land in japan

Nah they are worth more than EA's mobile and social gaming division, not the whole thing

Ok I knew I probably had that wrong, thanks for clarifying that for me .

What bothers me is my wife and mother-in-law are both like "Look were gamers!!!" I just tell them Farmville is for gamers that well . . aren't gamers . . I will say this though, Farmville has really helped my wife, we had to move because of my job, and Farmville does let her staff in touch with all her friends and family, and as a social hang out for her, I think its wonderful. But I don't consider it a game . . .

Speaking of Harvest Moon (which I have never played but I have spent lots of hours on Rune Factory 2 and I'm going to spend more hours on Rune Factory 3 after finishing other rpgs like Dragon Quest 4 and 5) it would be cool if there was a mobile version of the game for the west market. It would be a huge hit.

I'll see if I can watch online later tonight!

I'll admit I am surprised at the amount of users on Farmville that are much older group of people. I find my wife farms mostly with parents and grandparents of her friends.

Also it seems to be the 3am in the morning community for parents with babies that are awake.

I do like Farmville because its been fun for my wife and lets her stay in contact with a bunch of her friends. I can be playing my PS3/PSX and she playing Farmville on her laptop. its a good setup for us
