The C64 had it's unique sound. the ZX Spectrum had ass graphics but the music always turned out good. The Amiga had it's moments when it actually did play music. There are others I can't remember off the top of my head.

So when it comes to music which old computer is your favorite?

Mega Drive Yamaha FM synthetic when used right. In other words used d poorly in 90% of Western developed titles. The Neo Geo's Yamaha sound chip kicks ass too.

I love those and AdLib, but have no nostalgia for the PC speaker, it's just crap!

And the Roland MT-32 was the king of MIDI, provided you were willing to pay $500+ vs. getting a $200 Sound Blaster.

The Amiga had its moments? The Amiga killed all consoles and computers with its legendary sound chip!
