yup so does in Danish too anyway I have just downloaded the biggest collection (of what I know of ) of Final Fantasy soundtracks , anyway, I have a sweet spot for the Final Fantasy 1 soundtrack on the GBA (especially Temple Of Chaos melody).
well in someway it does this in swedish too, the word east is öst but when you say i.e. south-east it becomes syd-ost. but enough with the offtopic for me :110:
People, eeerm cheese in German is Käse, if I remember right, And I think I know what I am talking about. Even Though my German skills are mediocre.
Well there are some ripped mp3 out there, just search with google and you will find them. Favs ost's Rez, Jet Set Radio and some Space Channel 5 funkyness :020:
brilliant! now, back to the topic: seiken densetsu 3. gotta love that half e-guitar/half flute instrument. well, actually its a flute sample with some added vibrato, but i think its still ingenious. at one point, i was so in love with the games music that i bought myself a flute in order to be able to play the songs. however, i found out soon that the flutes "bandwidth"(tonal range) was far too limited to be able to faithfully reproduce the songs. thats when i had to fall back to happily whistling along.
Erm, what's the difference? Music in a game is still the soundtrack, is it not? And there's a lot of games where the OST albums are either non-existant or hideously rare anyway. Anyway, dunno if my tastes have changed in the last year, but here's mine: - Nearly every Konami MSX SCC game (especially Snatcher and SD Snatcher - I think I like the soundtracks more than the games though ^_^) - A lot of Nobuo Uematsu stuff - probably his SNES stuff's the best - Hitoshi Sakamoto (Gradius V and Vagrant Story - have yet to hear his other Treasure stuff though) - Sonic 1/2/3 ^_^ (listening to it now, which is scary) - Hiroshi Miyauchi (Out Run and Space Harrier) - Command & Conquer - F-Zero - Seiken Densetsu 2/3 - Kirby on the NES/GB (Jun Ishikawa methinks) - Ridge Racer Type 4 - About a million others I've forgot
My collection of game OSTs is not great, but here are some favs: Ghost in The Shell OST (VG) Ridge Racer - Direct Audio - Type 4 F.F. Mix Dragon Quest 1 & 2 Wipeout XL Viewpoint (Neo Geo CD) ^_^_^
 That was golden! Anyways, I'm going to have to go with Chrono Trigger, the original Final Fantasy, ESPgaluda, and Mushihimesama. The first Gradius and Secret Of Monkey Island have awesome soundtracks as well.
