  1. What are y'all favorite pirates and clones?
I started out with a gameboy multicart and my intrest just grew from there, now I have a closet full of stuff, I used to scour pawn shops in arizona looking for mexican pirates and came across some nice ones, but most of the stuff came from good ol' ebay and gameTZ

Yes, when I was thinking what my favourite clone was I wasn't even thinking of my MD clones. I agree, the Scorpion 16 is one of the very best 'cause of the 50/60 & language switches. The most useful famiclone I have is one with both NES & fami slots.

most of us in Mexico had a whole bunch of pirate stuff when we were kids.

All my famiclone catridges and adapter were stolen by a classmate in junior high, though. I used to have a 42 in 1 cartridge that actually had no repeats, and a 720 in 1 cartridge that did have a few, but it was full of very okay games.
Also, that cartridge that has every 8 bit super-mario game, plus "golden mario" .

Ah, and a super mario 4 cartridge that was actually "Armadillo" with a mario that could become a little ball, and japanese text.

    Boy... those were the days!

Yarrrrr! I still hunger for ye 190-in-1 cart that was popular in this area some 10 years ago, it had about 40 games on it, most of whom were never released in PAL land I think (such as a ninja-like 2P coop game called "zinja" on the cart). Maybe I should phone some old mates to check if they have it.

But apart from that, my current favourite is my Gaiares - Darius II Megadrive Multicart :smt033
