Well we did the quote thread (twice) so why not episodes? My fav by far. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Only_Move_Twice
Agreed. Yes, my two favorites (it's a tie, I can't pick just one) are the Hank Scorpio episode and the Prohibition episode. ~Krelian
How can you name just one? I really liked the episode where they went to Japan. Obviously someone on the writing staff had spent some time here and knew exactly how to take a few stabs.
Probably the one where Bart gets bullied by Nelson, and forms a 'military' to take him and his lackeys down.
There so many, that i honestly can't decide. The one that Homer and Barney training for NASA, and then Homer eating chips in orbit. The one that Homer's mom shows up. The scene were Mr. Burns is in the tank with a helmet and then the music changes because Smithers recorded on top of it is too damn funny. The one that Mr. Burns say he'll make a donation "when pigs fly" Also, the trip to Rio is hilarious, mostly because the exageration and situations. Homer is kidnapped in Rio and then taken to the Rainfortest?! lol Also the trip to Japan, because of "Mr. Sparkle"
You're thinking of a different episode. The one with Mr. Sparkle is in the episode where marge becomes a "listen lady" at the church. The Mr. Spakle thing is a subplot that revolves around Homer finding a package of Japanese dish soap at the dump. A great episode. Interestingly, they actually got the katatana for Mr. Sparkle right! Well, pretty close anyway.
I've stopped myself from ever choosing one episode...heh. Kamp Krusty The Lemon Tree Treehouse of Horrors V The Simpsons: Behind the Laughter I Love Lisa I'll stop.
Haha...that's a good joke...I believe the song is "Waterloo." Favorites...well...I am a Simpsons megafan...in fact, I'm watching it on DVD right now... Homer At the Bat -- The one where Mr. Burns hires major league ringers for the plant softball team. Homer the Great -- Where Homer joins the ancient and mystical society of the Stonecutters... Marge Vs. The Monorail -- Duh Mr. Plow -- Duh A Streetcar Named Marge -- Duh Whacking Day -- About Springfield's snake killing Holiday. 22 Short Stories About Springfield Simpsons Spinoff Showcase Basically anything from Seasons 3-6 and any Halloween Episode. You Only Move Twice -- But you guys know that already...In fact, anything with Albert Brooks is awesome. Cape Feare -- <3 for Singing of the Score of HMS Pinafore ALL sideshow Bob Eisodes ...and so many more that i'm probably forgetting.
I like a lot of them. I like the one where Homer becomes the head guy at city waste management and ends up spending their budget in a month. The whole town ends up moving 5 miles down the main road. It was hilarious.
Haha. Marge: This is the uh... Listen Lady Moe: Yeah, well listen lady, I gotta problem. I love Moe. "I am no good at weddings... I am no good at weddings!"
The rest of that quote is funny too. He calls back after asking her why everybody hates him: Moe: Uh, hi, it's me again. Listen, I've got another problem. This one's about my cat. Cat: Mreow!! Moe: (to the cat) Yeah, shut up! I'm asking her!
Another funny episode is when Bart wants to jump a canyon with his skate, but them Homer appears to stop him. The problem is that he ends up jumping it, thinks he's gonna make it but them falls and ends up get injured a lot. When the helicopter comes to rescue him, his head keeps getting beated on rocks and stuff. When he finally arrived at the ambulance, it crashes and he falls in the abysm again. LOL The one they go to Australia is tons of fun as well. Isn't this one that Homer goes to the bathroom and the water goes to another direction when he pushes the toilet flush? There's a huge machine just to make the water go the "right" direction and he gets emotioned.
"We have a device that makes them flush the proper 'American' way". The one w/ John Waters was a classic. I can't wait to see what Annual Gift Man brings me this year.
classic  Also love 7x19 - "A fish called Selma" when Troy McClure does a musical version of Planet of the Apes. And in the start of the episode "Oh, Homer, that's just an urban legend. People don't do that type of thing with fish!" ;D
