For some reason I can't stop listening to Maroon 5's Make me Wonder......it's my Summer Anthem. Otherwise It's usually a lot of Anime/Game music on my playlists.
My fav song right now is by a band called The Shins with the song Phantom Limb, great song I might say.
Bought the soundtrack from "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" yesterday, and I'm a sucker for the "Down to the river to pray" song by Alison Krauss, if anybody knows it. Not my cup of tea, normally, but this is some good stuff.
I woke up this morning and had Joy Division's "Shadowplay" stuck in my head. Other than that I've been listening to a lot of Death and Boards of Canada lately.
sparks by Royksopp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uofx-I0TiOU Tried by 12 by East Flatbush Project .just saw the video for the first time, it`s awful but still one of the greatest Hip Hop beats of all time check it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXBckFyiMyU
Oh my word, a fellow BoC listener! That doesn't happen too often  What are your favourite tracks/albums?
Kings Of Leon at the moment, sprinkled with a touch of Lilly Allen's / Mark Ronson's take on the Kiaser Chiefs 'oh my god' ;P
At the moment Nightmare - Shian (Cyan) Awesome bassline, lots of fun to play! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwK4YT-zko4
Makes Me Wonder is such a catchy song. Right now I can't get Mouth Like a Magazine by Showbread out of my head. Check out the video, it rocks!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWU4W_JcUH4 :love2:
Actually, I think I originally checked them out at your recommendation. My favorite album has to be "Music Has the Right to Children." "The Campfire Headphase" and "Geogaddi" are also great. Bocuma (MHTRTC) and Orange Hexagon Sun are works of art, as far as I'm concerned.
Really? Can't remember! Yeah, generally I prefer Music Has too. I'm totally with you on the "weird" music, some of it I find just too scary to listen too - In The Annexe and Beware the Friendly Stranger (Geogaddi) are good examples! Some of it gets pretty cool after braving the initial dozen times, like You Could Feel The Sky, though, imho (try playing that song backwards, it sounds pretty cool). Lately I've been listening to the A Few Old Tunes "albums" a lot - they sound very old, but there's some gems for sure! That and Trans Canada Highway, which is great for driving through/up high mountains, btw
Arrogant Worms- "Bottle of booze" Three Dead Trolls In A Baggie-"Mom's coming to my house" some random David Bowie stuff too.. and....Rowan Atkinson's "Boing Boing" (From 9'o'clock news)
'Fans' By The Kings of Leon, not usually my cup of tea but i'm loving this song right now. Either Way by the Twang, Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer and anything By Bloc Party are also popular in my ears.
"Hanabi" by Spontania. Nice summer song together with "Uchu Hawai" by Alpha (宇宙ハワイ, アルファ) which really is a bit spacy (uchu=outer space).
If you like Boards of Canada you should definitely check out this thread and I should definitely update it.
