Advanced Warfare just came out, so I think this is an appropriate time to make this thread. What's your most and least favourite CoD game and why? My favourite CoD game is CoD 2. I completed it several times as a kid on my PC and even today this game holds up very well. I just love the WW2 setting and the 3 seperate campaigns. Back then it still was mainly about the Single Player. If a WW2 or even WW1 CoD game would be made this decade, with the single player being good, it would be a wish come true to me. Call of Duty Ghosts - I hate this game. For me this is the worst game in the entire series. It's the only CoD game I haven't completed and I mean the only one. I rather play CoD 4 on the DS, than this disappointment. It's just very boring overall. And I much rather play BLOPS 2 MP, than this game. And the big review sites got a nice big, fat paycheck for their reviews of this game, because no way does this game deserve more than a 6 at all. Share your thoughts.
I played a lot of CoD 2 and 4, but nowadays, the series are all about money and DLCs (even the gameplay is getting worse).
If they do DLC, they should do it right. Call of Duty United Offensive was a great example of good DLC and a good expansion pack.
Indeed a good game, but it's my least favourite of the WW2 CoD games. I wish it wasn't a console exclusive
I think both CoD 4: Modern Warfare, and CoD Black Ops 2 are my favorite. We played LOTS of Modern Warfare at the office during lunch break on hardcore mode and it was loads of fun, and the campaign is pretty good iirc. Black Ops 2 though, I did not play through the campaign, got bored during the first few missions, but the multiplayer is pretty solid and fun, and the Zombies mode is better than the one on Black Ops 1.
I've played them all and always fall back to Black Op II Zombies myself. Least favorite would be Ghost Extinction mode.
I do think, that Black Ops 2 was the most innovative of the modern CoD's . At least they are trying something new with Advanced Warfare. It's the first CoD game that truly looks next gen.
