I haven't seen much online in regards to the FMD-POWER-03 PCB for the Famicom Disk System. So far, I have only found this board in the FDS drives with the single line of text near the access light.

What do you want to know? I'm well versed in FDS. What is your end goal? Would you like to mod it to write games?

That board would come in an earlier revision right before the switched over to a textured shell, but they added the extra board as copy protection.

Oh not much really. I at least wanted to post a photo of the board as something to reference as I have not actually seen it on the web.
Not looking to modify for write, I have a write-protect free drive already.

It does not seem much different than the FMD-POWER-02 from what I can tell.

well the power 3 doesn't usually come with the write protect board. I've gone through about 50 drives since last year, and only got 1 with that add on board. I only have one fmd-power-02. that is MUCH rarer. and the 03 with write protect is pretty well documented actually.... the 02 isn't.

That is interesting. My other FMD-POWER-03 has a different write-protect board.
