Hey everyone, after playing with my Kinect for a little while I start to feel a little sick and my head started to hurt for whatever reason and I think think that it's my Kinect that's causing it. Has anyone else with a Kinect experienced anything like this?

I swear I have some prototype Kinects that make it feel like your head is being microwaved.. Though maybe it's just a placebo effect? Though it doesn't happen to me with final Kinects.

I find that with the Wii, especially when exercising energetically on EA Active. :p

Not to offend, but could the issue be related to your physical fitness?

The Kinect itself is not likely to be a direct cause of any sort of medical problem, but I would suspect over exertion in a short time frame to be a possible cause. Most people aren't exactly "in shape" let alone trained to handle something like a boxing match in terms of sudden, quick movements.

The resolution was better in the prototypes, right? I would assume that means it pumps out even more of those tiny little spotlights.

Maybe that was a real medical concern during testing? I never did see a good reason for down-scaling the resolution. We lost native finger-detection. :(

But its just IR dots getting bombarded onto you, thats nothing that would cause a headache.

I'm no doctor, but I guess it's impossible that an eye could pick up on that and interpret it incorrectly in order to cause such symptoms?
