Fei Hao Mega Drive - What power supply?

Hi,

I bought a Feo Hao Mega Drive, one of those HDMI ones. Sorry, I don't have a clue about voltages or anything like that, can I use my old step-down converter with this console? The converter is on the left of this photo, while the plug that came with the console is on the right. I don't understand what it says on them. I use this converter on a Japanese Saturn and it works fine, but I'm not sure if it's okay with this clone MD console.

I also have this old plug from an electric shaver, it fits in the clone Mega drive, would it work?

 

Your "new" AC Adaptor dont need a step down converter. Its rated for 100-240V 50/60Hz

 

Oh right. So I just need some kinda thing to convert the size of the pins? Because it doesn't fit in UK sockets. Oh wait, unless you mean I can use the old Babyliss one because that is also 100-240V?

EDIT - I gave it a try but it didn't work.

 

Step down will work. If you can just get a travel adapter style plug to plug it in directly. The PSU will accept voltage from any worldwide socket.
