Hey guys! I am considering playing Final Fantasy 1 up to 12 on a LCD/LED 27" monitor. (NOT TV, computer monitor). BUT, I have been lurking on the Internet for the past 2 days trying to figure out if I can actually play with a good quality image. I watched this tutorial yesterday and then I wondered if I could do this with the monitor I'm willing to buy, I need your opinion about it. VIDEO: How to output component and optical on a PS2 Here is the beast: Samsung S27B750H Specs Specs (eBay seller) Connectivity: View attachment 6293 View attachment 6294 According to you: There is an old SCART port on this monitor, then can I play with my composite/SCART cable I got with my fat PS2 ? Those 5 colored ports, are those component ports ? Then can I hook up my fat PS2 to this monitor with a PS2/PS3 component cable to increase the image quality of my FF games ? (not blurry texts..) like in the youtube video I don't want to play in widescreen 16:9 since FF 1-10 games were not designed for it, hence I will play 4:3. BUT is it possible with this monitor ? AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, taking account I will try playing with component cables and in 4:3 Do you think the image quality will be at least as good as on our old CRT ? My knowledge is poor when it comes to monitors so... any feedback / suggestions / opinions will be helpful and greatly appreaciated! Thank you!!!
