Seems small. I guess they didn't include the entire first disc like the official UK Saturn magazine did.

I'm not complaining of course, just mentioning it

Nope, no go. :( It gives me the SEGA logo and then the "Team Andromeda Presents" screen and then it stop and eventually goes back to the system screen.

Edit: You might want to ZIP the NRG for the 56K connected members. Takes off about 20 MB.

What condition is the original disc in? If the readable surface has any dirty areas, you may want to clean it up a little bit before copying it so the cd-rom drive can read / copy the data correctly.

How did you copy the disc? Nero backup? When you put the original demo disc into your drive, are the files hidden by default? The files on the CDR all have the hidden attribute.

When you have a minute to spare, put the original disc in your cd-rom drive. Go to "my computer," right click on your drive, and select "properties." The disc for me is reporting a size of 77,578,240 (73.9MB). Is that the same size of the original?

To ensure everything went well on my end, I made the CD at 8x on a 52x 700MB CD-R and told Nero to verify the image after writing it. My saturn is a N. American model with the jumpers set to NTSC-J.

Thanks anyways for uploading it. Even the Andromeda title screen is better than nothing. :D

I don't think the problem is your disc. I just made a backup (with Nero Express) of my import version of Panzer Dragoon Zwei and used the swap trick to try and boot it. It plays the opening animation then does the same thing as Azel. It just hangs until it goes back to the system screen. Wierd thing is that it did it with the original Zwei disc too, but only after I tried to boot the backup. All other games work fine. Even Sonic Xtreme loads no problem.

I guess we'll have to wait until someone with a real NTSC-J console tries it out. Could just be my system.

I changed the format from nrg to bin+cue(with alc120%) and it works perfect in GiriGiri, cant say for the Saturn cuz i dont own the system anymore.

yourTom: I deleted my megaupload link, to prevent any karmic reaction. So don´t worry there has been zero downloads of it.

you might want to try ripping this one a different way like bin+cue because it may make a difference I use cdrwin and that works for me usually anyway can't wait to see

You should make images with 2352 bytes a sector! If you just have the user-data, there's no way to check the data tracks for errors.

It's nice of you to give out images but CD images made by all current burning software are not 100% perfect archival copies in regards to the disc's layout, so I just hope you know that. If you're looking to preserve these by sharing, there are certain steps you should take. This is a guide should give you the jist of archiving any game with audio tracks: http://redump.org/guide/psxdumping/

If you don't want to do all that, the second best way would be to just use clonecd. Clonecd attempts to capture most everything about the disc. From a clonecd image, people can extract 2352 byte sectors and a better layout than CDRWin or Nero.

Lastly, this thread (like practically all others in the file forum) is pretty illegal, in case anyone didn't realize. A demo doesn't make it not warez. So while giving out data is cool, warez probably doesn't reflect well on the forum.

well , thats an interessting point.

since demos are none-comercial , i doubt that its illegal to share them , or is it ?

Even if it was never sold, it's copyrighted material, so you still need distribution rights to distribute/make copies.
