Made by and tested by myself personally.

Downgrade your 1.5 PSP to 1.0!

Just copy the extracted contents of this zip to your memory stick, run the downgrader, and enjoy! Be sure to be plugged into AC power.

(Normally, to downgrade 2 PSP's are required, a 1.5 and a 1.0, iv'e cut out the middle man).


**NOTE** all though I, and many others have done this downgrade without issue, due to the fact that the PSP flash is being accessed there is always a possibility of 'bricking'. Be sure that your PSP battery is fully charged *and* connect to external power to be doubly sure against power loss during the downgrade process. If you destroy your PSP blame Sony! Use at YOUR OWN risk! **

What is the advantage of a 1.0 versus a 1.5 PSP?

By the way, thanks for the 1.5 post. I went out and purchased a PSP, and downgraded to 1.5. Luckily I didn't have to go from 2.5 to 1.5, since it was already at 2.0.

 

A 1.0 PSP is limited in function, but will run unencrypted homebrew files directly from the memory stick without a hack. You can just copy the eboot file over and go to town.

I don't know if its the same as the one posted by Sonikku years ago, however i used this on my UK launch PSP 1000 and it worked perfectly.

I hope no one minds me attaching this on another forum? links on 1 click file hosting websites never last...
