looks like ill be getting a japanese one, doesnt really matter though.... they will be both cheaper than in the Uk
Yeha im going for a JPN one as well. Better just hope they don't introduce the region protection on the games...
They're all being sold in bundles too, it sux..... If I can find someplace that isn't selling in a $500 bundle, I'll take the day off and stand in line for the thing.
$249? What's the problem? People thought they'd be ~500 before they were releases. Worth every penny.,
But remember hoew appalingly bad Wipeout Fusion was? I would really hold off until a good number of credible reviews come out for it.
Well, Fusion was ok, but 2097 is still the greatest, imho, with 3 SE a close second. Of course I'm not running to the store right away now I heard that a Wipeout game is coming out (which I already knew), only a Nights remake could make me do that :-D
Ouch. well they must have it priced to make a profit from the base unit, not the software. hehe No biggie, since I'm not a $ony fan anyways.
You don't see the problem in paying $250 for a faulty machine that has poor battery life and launches discs better than it plays games? Because I do.
Worth every penny. I take it you've had yours for a long period of time, right? I suppose you've also bought Sony's launch products. If you did, I can assure you they aren't worth all of about .50 cents, let alone $250.
The battery life isn't that bad, imho, and its not like the disc shooting occurs every other minute of play, c'mon, you're taking things out of proportion.
My jap psp doesnt do the disc pop out thing. Also i cahrge it friday night when i got it. Been playing ridge racer lots, few videos, and music. Still have 30% battery left. Ive prob used it for about 3ish hours or something. Not sure. Also the lowest backlighting seting u can live with no problems.
It only happens when you "Twist" your PSP a little. Im still going to wait for the second or third Batch of PSP games, though. Besides, if the disc shooting thing becomes a problem, I could tape the damn thing shut, and If the cd has razor sharp edges, im screwed. :-D I just take lemons and make Lemonade. :smt023 Im not going to pay $250 for it, though. Hell NO!
