thanks, FFT is my favorite game ever and i had really high hopes for it.

i can't even think that they might have ruined it :(

From what a friend told me. It's flat out FFT. The people playing the iso are probably people who never played or liked FFT.

Only disapointment is the JPN version does not have english much like FF1 remake did. :(

i cannot comment on the orginal as yet as it hasnt arrived from play-asia yet, however i got a bit impatient and downloaded it, and it does suffer from slow-down, even the speech bubbles are jerky, ill stick with the original psx version on the psp or the gba version to play, and keep the psp one as a collectors piece

Let's hope the DS version will bring some honor to the series. I played the GBA one to death.

Er..well lets hope they rework the judges so that the game is you know...fun. I'm hoping this apparent "lag" in FFT: Lion's War isn't as bad as it sounds. I'm planning on buying a PSP for this game alone (original FFT in portable form with multiplayer=dream come true). It's all a waiting game now.

    Something fun/funny to state.

FF1 remake on psp has tose in the credits (not sure if they did the gba port or the psp or both). FF1 PSP actualy turned out really well. Not sure why they botched FFT up but from what I saw it's not extreamly bad but yes the pacing is anoying (from the vid comparison).

also FF1 has songs (not sure if its a reused remake song or new) from other ff games (1 from ff3, 1 from ff4, two from ff5 and one from ff6).

I have the ISO and it does in fact LAG. BUT... only when specials go off like summons or magivc attacks and then its not bad. I have heard that the version I have is a early one since I was able to get it like 5 days before the jap launch happened.

I also heard my version runs on the PSP at like 200MHZ while in the final they bumped it up to 333MHz. It appently does not lag at 333 but it eats more battery then playing most games because of it.

I can say the game looks fantastic and alot of jaggies have been removed so im pleased.

I dont believe that is true at all.

The ISO is of the ASIAN release which came out on tuesday (Japanese version on thursday). The games are identical in all fassion.

The slowdown definantly is not hw lag and looks like code issue by design (or by fault).

Second no game can run at 200MHz. PSP cpu can not be clocked by software (sony does not allow it period). It is running at 222Mhz tho.

Only Official PSP software to run at 333MHz is ps1 iso games (but sony heavly does not advertise or makes any mention of this, probably would hurt to advertise this).

FYI this is in the comercial relm i am talking about, not the homebrew relm where all is thrown out the window.

ok sorry about that. I dont know much about the game, my buddy is a tactics nut and wanted me to get the ISO so he could try it out. Hes having a really hard time accepting that he has to wait like 10 more months for the english version to come out lol.

He said that people on the gamefaqs forums and other places are saying that the official jap release dosent lag?

I have never tryed to emulate the PSX version through POPs, does it lag?
