This is myy last free-time work in progress project just started and lots of work to do, but i would like to hear some comments, impressions and suggestions from you guys...
As much as you can see in the vid, actually quite a lot It's currently a 12000x12000 pixels picture... My pc is about to die lol
Started to do mountains around Narshe, little by little is taking a nice shape But it's such a small part of the world so far Share the video around i can use some suggestions and encouragement
Excellent work so far! I once attempted the same thing with the overworld map from A Link to the Past. Unfortunately my PSD files became corrupted upon Photoshop crashing due to my desktop's 2GB RAM limit at the time (this was 2007 or so).

Nice! Thanks for the update. You're really making me want to play through VI again. EDIT: God, that music... Killing me right now. I have too many games on the backlog. Just thought you'd get a kick out of this...
Mini no-vid update: Started inserting cities, they look cool! Added a very big amount of mountains and new ground features... not much refined yet but i'm adding variety. like going to the south the mountain are less high (not being snow covered) and with more brownish hue... Starting to consider how to deal with the east of narshe; Lethe River; i would need a grand canyon like place but in green-mountainous environment. Talking about "credits" so far madagascar, germany, austria, italy, china, russia, peru', argentina and USA are credited for giving pieces to the world of FFVI When i finish the first continent i think i'll try to add some clouds and weather effects too...
