Just ordered a Everdrive for the Sega Genesis and had a few questions in preparation when it arrives.

I just read the new OS is updated and the folder can now hold 200. Does that mean 200 roms at a time? Or could I put the whole library of sega genesis games on my SD card?

I want to make a case label and cart sticker. Is there a tutorial anywhere or something that explains the exact dimensions when creating them and what brand/where can you find stick paper.

That's all for now, thanks for any feedback and I look forward to receiving this puppy in the mail!

you can put so many files as you want, but each folder should contain not more than 200 files, file 201,202,203... just will not shown

You can put 200 ROMs per folder, but you can have multiple folders. So you can fit as many games as 2GB allows (which should be all), but you just can't exceed 200 per folder.

...youll be able to put sega genesis, master system games and 32 x games all on your sd card, like stoneage gamer and krikzz said though dont go over 200 per folder , i would create folders than add roms a little at a time so you can test them and make sure you have workable versions. Your gonna have a blast with your everdrive!!!!!

What I did personally, was setup folders for different regions (Japan, World, Europe, Asia, US), and then inside each make folders for each letter and then sort the roms that way... That should keep you under the file limits

    Thanks for the ideas guys.
The insert and cart sticker I might have to buy from here http://www.segaage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=43&threadid=41706

I'm a little "eh" on the $13 price tag, but I went out shopping today and the cheapest I could get any printable sticker paper was $10 and I didn't need as much that it came with. I can't find a place around here that sells just one piece of sticker paper cheap so I guess I'll have to bite the bullet.

Thursday it should arrive, my weekend is set!;-)

MrBigRedDog does all of our printing for our Deluxe carts. His are die-cut so much better than just buying a sticker.

Also the case inserts that I believe he sells on there are very high quality. The are UV laminated so they won't fade easily over time.

Just got it in the mail! I won't have time until tonight after work to get it going. Work is going to drag!

One awesome thing I wanted to mention was the pause button on the board. I thought it looks like this:

Notice how long the button is. I worried that would be something that could break off. But the button is nice, small and looks so much better. Can't wait to start playing games on it tonight!
