I use Scumm on the Dreamcast. Works great as well. BUt can we all use this Wii one on a standard Wii? Yakumo
Tried this the other day. Had some small issues but all in all it's an awesome way to play adventure games
Hows the game compatability? I use scummvm on the ds & its pretty good but theres still a few quirks in some games like sam & max.
Only tried gobliiins and Day of the Tentacle yet, seems to work so far. But as I said before I had some small issues, like first time I started DotT the sounds were all distorted. And every time you reset ScummVM it looses the Wiimote so you have to re-sync it again for the cursor to work.
Awesome, will try this out for sure. And I did try out the snes emu with wii remote support,it plays very nice using the classic controller.
out of curiosity, do we still need to do the twilight hack each time we boot up the system, or has it evolved to a "do it once, appears in menu screen....never have to touch it again"?
You can install a homebrew channel and select it from there,no need to use the game anymore. The Twilight hack works with the latest update.
I believe its as simple as copying the said file/emulator to sd card, loading up Twilight Princess, selecting the save game (from sd card) and walking to a certain in game character. The game crashes and then you can get to your emulator/program....something along those lines I think...sorry I'm a tad drunk.
it's that simple? Wow, that makes the Game Cube PSO hack look like rocket science  I'll have to look in to this more. I'd really like to try the good old Lucas Arts games on the Wii with the remote. Yakumo
