I've went from Firefox to chrome and back to Firefox but just today i've noticed that when i visit assemblergames, hotmail or a few other websites that instead of automatically being logged in without having to do anything or having my login details appear and just pressing loging i now have to constantly enter my login details for the various sites which i find annoying becuase these are sites i visit once or more a day and i've never had this problem before. Has anyone had this problem or know what to do, I've not changed any settings or done anything unordinary since all my settings and other stuff were how i had them set up since installinf firefox. Cheers
The sessions could have just expired, did this happen to you more than one time? The other thing that could happen is some issue with cookies, check that you have cookies enabled, otherwise every session you started will be closed when you close Firefox. However, I had ocassional troubles with Firefox about sessions expiring early, kinda have this trouble for a couple of days and then gets all back to normal. It's way more common in betas and nightly builds, but it happened to me a couple of times in stable versions. If you keep having this issue try reinstalling Firefox, it solves everything most of the times (you won't lose your configuration BTW).
Sounds to me more like you just need to CLEAR your cookies (I don't use Firefox much, but I think the option says something like clear all private data - for best results, clear everything - including saved passwords). I know it's a pain that you'd be starting from scratch, but I had to do that in IE and afterwards it worked fine ;-)
Cheers, i've cleared all my private data so its just a case of entering all my details again the sites when i visit them and then waiting till i close firefox and then open it again. I did check my cookie settings but they were set to never expire.
