Is it only me or has Firefox too many troubles with MS products (sites/vids)?

I prefer Quicktime myself, but anyways, whenever I try to watch a Media player movie or something, it saves to my temp internet files and automatically plays in Media player. I don't recall having many, if any, problems with Firefox until I upgraded to the latest version. Hopefully they fix it soon, but I've gotten used to it anyways. There are too many ups to using Firefox than downs for me.

What version of Media Player do you have installed?

or... what codec are you using?

Do the troublesome videos work OK in IE or Media Player?

Yes actually. Firefox is 1.5.0.9. Windows Media player is 9, o_O, which is prolly the reason for all the malfunction .

I've had this issue since upgrading to Vista, for some reason FF2 doesn't pick-up that I have media player installed.

I think its because Vista doesnt come with mplayer2.exe or something?

some versions of xp dont come with windows media player plugins...you have to download them separately.

i was using windows xp media center and couldnt play windows media in firefox untill i downloaded the plugin files and upgraded windows media player.
