Aww, come on guys, don't act so sad, it's only Grand Theft Auto! You could get a similar cerebral experience by vigorously striking yourself in the forehead with a cast iron skillet! And you need no modchip to do so! :smt023
News sites treat this as big news, but it's not new. Back on DC's days pirate groups released a lot of games before the stores get them...sad. PD
Halo 2 or GTA:SA? The GTA series is crap in my opinion, just a load of token shock and cool features bolted together with a crap graphics engine.
It's just a load of hype. Games get released on the net before the retail releases all the time. As PD said, this happened alot with Dreamcast. It's just hype to get you more interested in the game. Have you ever wondered why complete shit songs get high in the chart but no matter who you ask everyone hates it. Well it gets so high because the record company buys some many copies it's self so that it's noticed by the masses of zombies out there, who will then go and buy it JUST because it's popular. Same thing here with GT3 and Halo 2 I recon. Yakumo
I personally like GTA for it being open ended, and having quite a bit to do. I don't give a shit about the violence or the story.
Exactly why i like it... however im a bit scared that all this having to eat and sleep crap will get in the way of the 'just do what the hell you want' option of gameplay... lets hope the cheats are released real quick so i can disable all the crap. )
GTA SA is laden with glitches. It takes a second for a street/building to popup on screen and they are right in front of you.
Unlike GTA, I would like an opened ended game where you could steal cars, and it has mechs you can steal too! There is a game out for the xbox like this. I cant remember the name though.
