First silent scope cabinet worth 600?

It's all 100% working and in decent shape cosmeticly! I got offered one today

 

I doubt you'll find this cab any cheaper... So it all depends if you like the game enough to justify the 600,- price tag.

 

Hmm Yeah. I'll have to sell an extra pc and my 3ds plus some other things as I'm low on cash at the moment. Cheapest I found it for was 900 before shipping.

 

Do be wary that if the gun breaks that you may have a tough time sourcing spares as the LCD screen, backlight bulb and gun use non standard parts and you may be spending several hundreds of dollars just to get it back up and running.

 

Ah Yeah thats very true, He has 4 of them, so I could pick the best one, any idea on what their failure rate is?

 

These get easily beat up on location (man handled), plus they're an ass to get parts for. However, if you get a good working unit, it should work for a long time.

However, 600 is on the high side. It's an old game, he has four of them, you should be able to talk him down to at least 500 (I would try for 400).

 

Yeah, Apart from converting a xmen vs street fighter cabinet over to mame I have little experience in this sort of thing. He also has a raiden 2 cabinet for 100ish he told me. I played two of them and aside from one of the screens being slightly bright it was just fine.

 

Raiden 2 on it's own is worth the 100, I'd go for it if you have the space.

That Raiden II cab is a steal. You get the cabinet basically for free

 

He has an entire warehouse full of the things. I got a marvel vs street fighter cabinet completely working minus buttons and psu from him for 100.

 

Ah man... Raiden II would be sweet to have.

I have always enjoyed Silent Scope though. What other goodies does the guy have??

 

He has alot of stuff I don even remember. He sold a couple of KOF cabinets while I was their for 100 a pop. Its always random when I go their. Their is also lots of pay to play pool tables jukebox's, claw games. It's all american stuff though mostly. He hasn't seen a candy cabinet in years he said. =/
